Robert K. Ash
Rob is the director and co-founder of Cherry Productions. He has been working in film and editing throughout his professional career and is passionate about the details involved in each step of the creative process. His natural talent for cinematography was evident from a young age and in high school he won several awards for his amateur films. He studied at the University of Southern California (USC), where he received both a bachelor’s and master’s of fine arts in film and digital production. Rob’s films have received international acclaim and have appeared on network television and as features in several international film festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival, the Cincinnati Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival.
JC SIMS
JC is Cherry Production’s co-founder and is the company’s marketing, management, and financial specialist. A graduate of USC, JC’s unique combination of studies in business entrepreneurship, psychology and theater are fundamental to the company’s success. Savvy at both the creative and administrative sides of the work, JC is a world class expert at concept development, location scouting and talent casting. JC and Rob met while studying at USC and they founded Cherry Production in 2010.
